Insurance information
Are you in-network with my insurance?
I am in-network with Aetna, Centivo, and BCBS of North Carolina.
What are your options if I am currently out-of-network with your insurer?
If I am not in-network with your insurer, then counseling services would be at the self-pay rates above.
I can provide you with a special receipt called a Superbill. You can use this medical receipt to submit out-of-network claims on your own to seek reimbursement and/or inclusion toward your out-of-network deductible.
Any flexibility when it comes to fees?
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Contact me if you are interested in learning more!
“Good Faith Estimate” / The No Surprises Act
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities
are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care
program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their
ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good
Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
If you are a self-pay client, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
I will provide you with the total expected cost for counseling prior at least 1 business day prior to your first visit. You will work together to revise this estimate to be responsive to your treatment goals.
